Sounds from my shoulders? What should I do ?
So I got back into working out again about 2 months ago and have been lifting fairly heavy for my light ass.
Today was chest, Bi's, and shoulders and while doing my Bench presses I could hear my shoulders popping on every lift.
I think it got even worse on the decline, Man this cant be good for my joints right ?
Should I back off on the weights all together, drop the weights, or just ignore it?
Im skinny so i was told more weight less reps is the ticket and ive been sticking to that.

some popping is natural, but if it gets extreme or painful, lay off....I had to have shoulder surgery a couple years ago because I didnt know when enough was enough...When i do bench now, i use dumbells and rotate my palms inward when the weights are at my chest. good luck bro.

I hear that too, I believe some is normal but if it is loud and or painful STOP and dont continue until you are fully healed. And alway use proper form, at the cost of using heavy weight if necessary.Thats about all I can say for sure.

Try a few lighter warm up sets. I use to get these a lot with military presses but once I did a few warmup sets It doesnt happen anymore.
