    will you take abreak?

    I've been hittin pretty hard and think I should take a "lay-off" you fellas ever take a break to recup/

    yes.. its very important to take a week off to recup. I usually take a week or two off every 12 weeks of training.

    three days off every now and them like once every other month makes me recoop and hit it harder......

    Me too, But does anyone else every feel they are getting weaker by the second if they havent lifted in like 3 days? I do and it bothers me, but i was wondering if anybody else was the same?

    I used to get that..just make sure to still take in plenty of carbs and protein and you shouldn't lose much..I have skipped bench for 2 weeks and then im stronger...and used to I would miss a day and lose 10 lbs

    i always take a 5-7 days off after 8-12 weeks hard work out

    yeah I usually take 1 or 2 full weeks off every 16-20 weeks of training, just depending on how my body feels.

    I would have to agree with the others. Our minds may be telling us we are getting weaker during our off-time but our body will actually come back stronger, in the long run, with the time off. I read in the NSCA text that it actually takes 1 month off to lose your strength gains. Not sure about muscle gains but I think its actually longer.

    When I go on my breaks I see the best gains. I agree w/everyone else.
