how often to train lagging calves?

like a lot of people i have lagging calves
i have made some improvements by training them hard 3 times a week

but was thinking about increasing it
is it possible to overtrain calves?

is 2 days in a row too much?

i was thinking of training them 2days on, 1 day off
with more sets/intensity on the 2nd day (where i have the next day off)

    waddya reckon?

i would think training them 2 days in a row wouldnt be good for them cause they need atleast a couple days to heal the muscle. i would think of doin it the other way around like 1 day on 2 days off.

Well it is different for every person. But calves, like forearms and abs CAN be trained everyday. They have a very fast he****g time because they are used throughout the day normally, just walking around you are using ur calf muscles. When Arnold had lagging calves he started training them every single day to get them to the stage he compete at. So all that said I dont see why you couldnt do it every single day. Although ever other day would probably be good enuff.

I started about 2 months back hitting mine twice a week<once with legs and once on arm day>. I can see a difference in them.

Fvcking calves! I hate the bastards...damn lousy calf genetics...look like little girl calves, ought to be called Veal patties, they are so pathetic.

I read that Craig Titus makes sure he stretches them for like 20mins before training them, that way the blood can really get in there and start making things happen. I don't know, I've been trying it that way and you can see how happy I am with the results.

oh yeah, i am relating to that
i hate my calves, i'm embarrased to wear shorts

i have been really punishing them recently though,
really deep stretches with each rep
nice and slow with a pause at the top
    man it hurts
