    overtraining abs?

    is it possible to overtrain your abs... I have been hitting them like 4, 5 days a weeks

    not that i know of...i train them everyday...but i could be wrong

    abs are just like any other muscle. yes u can over train them

    I think if you stay with normal crunches you will be fine. But once you start trying to do weighted crunches or anything involving a lot of weight you might start being closer to overtraining.

    I would have to agree with this statement. If your using your bodyweight as your resistance, you can train your abs everyday. Think about it, this is what gymnasts do with their entire body. Check out some of guys who do the rings and they have a pretty impressive build for a little guy. If you're incorporating external resistance than you will only be able to train as frequently as your recovery ability allows you to.
