For reps or once??
Best deadlift I did: 330@118lbs.
I think that how much you lift is not that important, but the form is very important otherwise you are doing it for nothing...

Haven't maxed on deadlifts in forever, but My last set of 6 on a straight bar is usually 455...I'd probably be able to pick up 600 once.

last year at regionals weighing in at 128lbs I did 400lbs, not to bad for a runt.I haven't maxed sense I ripped my lat from my spine, but will try again soon. probably end of may. Just out of curiousity who uses sumo vs conventional.

Thanks man it is my best lift. I have long arms, short torso and long legs. I will feel better once i hit 400 on my bench in a meet. I have some tricks up my sleeve and i feel lots of strength coming on soon.

I normally dead lift like this
1 warm up set 250lbs x 10reps
1st working set 350lbs x 10 reps
2nd working set 450lbs x 8 reps
3rd working set 550lbs x 6 reps
4th working set 550lbs x 6 reps
Thats @ 204lbs bodyweight I perform dead lift once a week and also stiff legged deadlift.I use the convential method and I use a belt and wrist straps.Sometimes I will lift this OK other times I will struggle to hit 450lbs just depends on how mentally prepared I am before the workout
not sure what my one rep max would be and to be honest not really interested in all that one rep max stuff.
When deadlifting forget the amount of weight used it is not important technique is critical do it wrong or twist a little you will end up with a very sore back and I know from painful experience. Also NEVER take deadlifts to failure

Deadlifts can if performed correctly be the most important lift you can do in the gym, as they will hit every major muscle group in the body. I especially like the work they give to my forearms, so much so I have very nice forearms, and have NEVER done an isolation movement for them.

My best dead at a bodyweight of 198 lb is 594lb for 1 rep. But I have noticed that the week that you have a goog squat your'e a little weaker in the dead and vice versa

My best deADLIFT raw(with no lifting equipment) was 675 at 238 for 1 rep. this was done conventional.

i did conventional tonight at the gym and did 300 for 8 reps. My trap bar deadlift is at 345 for 8 reps. The height thing really kills me when it comes to deadlifts.

I did 275 for 3 last night. I could have went for like 8 but I always slip off and I use gloves, I would hate to be one of those guys spreading powder around the gym. WRAPS??? What do you guys do?

Sadly, after I stopped doing them for a while... for what reason, I can't remember... I'm down to 255 x 4 from 365 x4 (@ 160 lbs) Someday... someday I'll be able to move some serious weight. Right now I'm one of half a handful of people at my gym that do deadlifts (gotta love the school gyms)

AT 240 I would think mine is anything but impressive ,but impecable form is the only way for me . I"ve pulled 455 for 5,sumo style . regular around 405 for 5 w/straps, no belt . Sumo I like better hits the lats and the erectors better for back workouts. give about 5 months I'll have 500 down . rest/pause can't stress the importance of it and its benefits for this lift.

DL's are one of my best exercises. Last time I did them I got 585 for 3, haven't maxed in a long time. I really started seeing good strength gains when I cycled DL's off blocks into my routine.
