    Question surfing instead of jogging

    I know this is a random question, but i have to ask it anyway. I work at a beach and somedays I will go surfing for like 2-3 hours instead of going to the gym and doing cardio. I feel really tired after surfing and I am thinking that it is doing some good. Do you think this is a good idea, like is it helping me as far as a cardio routine goes??

    its defenetly a work out and i know its great for your back and shoulders...as far as cardio im not so sure you can get the same since alot of the time your sitting waiting for waves..but if your constantly holling a$$ to drop in down a wave then im guessing that like some sort of short sprint which is good since your going for like 2-3 hours.

    Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I definitely feel drained after surfing, so it's gotta be getting my heart rate up and stuff. Thanks for the response
