How many believe high volume routines build density and seperation?

I know it has little to do with fat loss, but do you think that the high volume stuff helps seperate muscle and build greater density? I just got done watching Pumping Iron and one thing I've noticed when I watch that movie, is how dense and seperated those guys were. And you know they werent on half the shit the guys these days are, not even that many supplements. Is there a theory behind this volume training??

Higher reps does increase sacroplasmic hyperthrophy...So in essence you are increasing the muscle density and its glycogen capacity.

I guess everyone will respond differently to different types of training depending on your body type, but I believe fast twitch people (like myself) respond well to lower reps high sets, less volume. My workout are usually 45-50min tops.
