    I need bigger biceps!!!

    Does anyone have any great bi workouts that i can use to get them bigger!....I NEED BIGGER BICEPTS!

    4in. on your own with this workout..


    good workout suggestions...there is also an article on the t-nation website that is good...for size i do heavy hammers and heavy barbell....i have made good progress so far...good luck

    i agree for size go with heavy barbell and hammer curls. if by size you mean the "peak" do alot of concentration curls.

    a trainer at my gym has such bad genetics when it comes to arms that he is a lean 275 (no im not joking) and has 17"-18" AT MOST arms...i feel bad for the guy cuz he could have been a competitor without a doubt...huge legs, ENORMOUS back, good chest...so yes i have seen a guy with a huge back and tiny arms.

    i think straight bar curls are the best exercise for overall bicep mass

    heavy straight bar curls heavy hammer curls no swingin 4 sets of each DONE!

    3-4 sets of 8-12 reps
    Standing barbell curls
    Straight-bar preacher curls
    Incline dumbbell curls

    On back day, use a supinated-grip on your pulldowns or weighted pullups.

    i havent trained bi's as much and they respond alot better. heres what i do:
    4 sets preacher bench
    4 sets bent over isolation db curls
    every other week Ill do reverse or hammer curls.

    just as a suggestion--this worked for me. but as always, different things work for different people. so here goes:

    4 sets of heavy dumbell curls--6-8 reps each
    4 sets of heavy incline dumbell curls--6-8 reps each

    and NO cheating!

    I have been doing this the past 3 or 4 arm workouts now, and I ****ing love it!!! Takes all the stress off the shoulders, its all arms

    I think SC is right on....

    I'm not sure what he specificly needs SC is better experienced with that portion...

    but thats me too, big wide frame long skinny arms (also skinny legs)... I wont look right until their 20",,, my legs wont look right until their 30-32"

    I have to intake a high amount on cals and focus on fast and slow twitch (I even feel if I dont have a good amount of BF I have to make sure I have high glycogen levels on arm day as well as leg day(much more starch in those days)...

    I have to hit them very hard and allow a good amount of rest... thats the way I've been getting mine to grow... BAsic movments, but different hand grip/placment and faster tempo with full intense contraction along with slower tempo with more intense contraction.... (you'd be surprised how many blokes dont get a good stretch and an evil contraction... they like to show off with weight they can't do that with)

    My arms also get their own day,,, Bi's and Tri's... thats for me

    I dont have the BBer frame or top BBer genetics... and my arms are dam long I'm 5'10"-11" and my span is right under 76"

    I'm sure this is already being incorporated, but to emphasize the importance...be sure to get in all the major compound movements so your body's own natural test release is maximized. Squat/Dead/Row/Bench. Will aide in increasing muscle mass over entire body.

    Actually yes I have, quite a few.

    I know what you're getting at, but I've seen huge backs w/small ass arms.
