    F-ing Stress Fracture and cardio!

It feels as though I'm developing a stress fracture on the outside of my foot. I do cardio daily and not sure what the hell to do. Normally it's a light jog and mostly incline walk. Anyone cut using a different type of cardio? What kind of routine?

From my experience, when working with athletes, most stress fractures are due to overtraining. I not saying this is the cause of your problem but maybe something to think about. I've read articles that have said that athletes, nowdays, are breaking bones more frequently due to lack of calcium in the bones. You could try to find a good calcium supplement and see if this helps make your bones stronger.

you could do cardio on the stationary bike but put your heels on the pedals, instead of the balls of your feet

Millions of people lose fat every year using stationary bikes.

I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.

If you are a strong swimmer, swimming would be an excellent non-weight bearing activity. Arm-ergometers are like upper body bicycling.

jsut get on the bike and set it to the resistance level that will keep your heart rate at the 65-75% of your max heart rate range and you WILL burn fat.
