After looking at my muscle charts, the sternal pecs would be working with pullovers.

A lot of people think of the pullover as just a lat exercise but I thought JNel04 might find it interesting that it hits the sternal pecs, as well. On the muscle chart, it said that when you bring your arm down from an overhead position, you will be working the sternal pecs. Just trying to help a bro out.

yea i've done them in the past and knew that they helped stretch out the serratus, but i never really felt it in my chest like other exercises. thanks for the viewpoints.

if u keep ur arm straight thropugh out the whole movement it will work lats
if u keep ur arms slightly bent through out whole movement it works chest and triceps and lil bit of lats i think....
but i dont do it anyway

Keeping your arms bent will not affect the chest or triceps more. I don't believe that pullovers will expand the rib cage.
