cardio for women, how much?
I have a female friend that needs to loose around 55lbs.
I was wondering how much cardio should she do a week, what kind of cardio and what kind of weight excercises should she do.

There is so much more info needed for this,, but you could try some circuit with anaerobic exercises, mixed with aerobic training… And make sure the diet is good.
Fast walking, stationary bike, treadmill, ellipticals, are good for cardio.
but the key as I have found is to find her something that she will stick to…

I think she should find something she enjoys doing. Her cardio should be done 4-5 times per week for 30-45 minutes and she will likely get bored quickly.
