Anyone use freestyle gliders for cardio?

I can't run for extended periods because of a surgically repaired knee, so I use recumbant bikes and elipticals for cardio. Even though they are much lower impact than running, the knee still gives me trouble sometimes with these. I've seen these freestyles like the Tony Little Gazelle and they look like they are soft on the knees, but I don't know what kind of cardio workout they offer.

Anyone use them.....good or bad workout??

Crosstrainers are an excellent cardiovascular workout, if you can increase the resistance as you get in better condition. Your upper body will have to work harder than it does on the treadmill or recumbent bike. The best workout, for people without joint issues, is still the treadmill, though.
