squats and pre contest
1. im 6 weeks out (june 15th is the show) and want to know when i should stop all leg work outs.
2. should i continue to do squats until i stop doing legs.

why would you want to stop?
ive never done a show so thats y im asking y would you stop working out?

no no, not stop working out, but i will stop doing legs about a week out so that they are fully recovered.

I stop legs about one week out, so last time was Friday, which show being the following Sat. and it worked well. Do normal routine right until end, train heavy and hard.

I never totally stopped training anything until 3 days out then only a bit of cardio. However, I would cut out squats a couple weeks before only because of the joint stress and not having the nutrients to feed the cells properly for healing. I just increased reps and intensity. If you train instictive your body will tell you what you can do. Mostly make sure you're getting the sleep.
