    deads and squats

    what do you guys think about doing deads on back and squats on legs every week? my one buddy claims it is too much and should be split everyother week........but guys I want to get THICK.......everyother or everytime?

    everytime imo as long as u onli train each muscle group once a week

    That IS the only way to go IMO... granted you're doing everything once a week like JamesC said.

    great, thats what ill do what day should you do stiff legged deads on? legs or back?

    SLDL on leg day, just don't go too heavy - it's a stretching exercise.

    I alternate SLDL on leg day one week, deadlift on back day the next to avoid impinging gains.

    I place stiff-legged deadlifts on leg day. I place them in my program as a hamstring exercise (glutes are also worked as well). The stretch can be pretty intense and cause some serious muscle fiber damage.

    stif leg on leg day.

    I alternate. One week I do squats, the next week I do deads. So basically I'm doing each one, every two weeks. Since I've adopted this method instead of doing both every week I have made gains in size and strength.

    good stuff. I'll agree with the others, SLDL can cause some serious soreness and hamstring growth.
