    goodmornings?

Does anyone here do goodmornings? When I incorporate them into my pl routines they have helped my squat max so much. Not to mention give my lower back some nice definition. I also find that squats just feel better, and I feel a lot more in control and balanced.

Good mornings are great. Have you tried glute ham raises? Those are, in my opinion, the best hamstring exercise out there.

I do those routinely as well, they really hit them well and have also seem to support my squat very effectively.

I don't like good mornings personally...

    I just looked into glute-ham raises... (specifically the floor glute-ham-raise) http://www.kvusa.com/wl/floorghr.htm .

    These look WICKED!

I think i'm gonna add these to my routine

Go to t-nation.com and look for articles by Powerlifters Louie Simmons or Dave Tate and they'll give you pics and a description. Louie's Westside Barbell Club uses them for increasing their totals in the squat and deadlift.

goodmornings is also a very important part of their routine..I read somewhere that louis uses some variation of goodmornings 70% of the time for max effort work.
