    No Equipment Help !

    heres the problem i have been stuck in illinois for months with no hope of leaving... i dont have any money or access to a gym all i have is 1 barbell and 2 dumbells ... what exercises will be most effective gaining size with this limited equipment

    please help

    I don't know what's worse...being stuck in Illinois or not having the cash to go to a gym.

    Just do as many compound movements as possible. When I was in Iraq for awhile all I had were two db's. I was squatting, doing deads, standing military presses, all kinds of stuff. Just use your imagination and keep on with the compound movements.

    i dont think im using enough weight just do more reps you think? i dont want to tone just build

    Well I don't know how much weight you've got to work with man. You've got to improvise. For instance, on a back day you could do weighted pull ups, bent over rows, deadlifts, maybe even one armed rows. Those are all solid exercises. Do what you can, but with limited equipment you either have to really use your imagination or do the best you can and accept the fact that you won't be making any stellar gains.

    wouldnt hurt to be bangin out a ton of push ups either.
