    HIIT after workout with weights?

I am cutting and have been doing 1hours light cardio in the morning and weights in the evening

but i wanted to build it up a bit and fancied doing some more cardio after my weights

could 30mins of High Intensity Interval training be beneficial post weights
    or is it too intense?

HIIT is basically very similar to weights to begin with. I would not do two cardio sesssions in one day plus weights. This may be a little much.

thats right, you will be working in your anaerobic heart rate zone..80/90% of maximum heart rate, You may be demanding to much from your recovery abilities....

Pro's doing HIIT, at 280+ Lbs. I'd highly doubt that, even on cycle you could fry your CNS.

no i didnt mean HIIT - i meant they will do 1hour in the morning
weights in the evening followed by 45mins cardio

i should've been more specific when i said HIIT
My HIIT isnt your standard all out effort approach anyways - its:
5mins warm up then a 30 second all out burst every 2 mins for a total of 20 mins

    then a 15min cool down/low intensity - i tried it today - felt good

i completed another post weights cardio session today
30 mins with 15 mins cool down

i never went above 75% Max heart rate
and most of the time it was below %70

so whadya think - is this a good move to increase my fat burning in the last 2 weeks of my cutter?

that would be ok, mabe even a littel higher around 75-80% you will burned more calories with 50% from fat.

i'm normally pretty tired after my weights which is predominantly super sets and drop sets at this stage

so i my heart rate is usually 120bpm as soon as i get on the cardio machines
i dont want to go too fast (say over 140bpm) because i dont want to burn muscle

136bpm is 75% for me (i'm 25) so i try not to go over that too much

i do 20 with intervals and then coast for 10 minutes low intensity, wait a half hour and eat a pro/fat meal. Try doin like low intesity for a minute, then sprint for a minute, back and fourth. 2 minutes is too long. It might seem impossible at first, but it can be done.Just for 20 mins. then stop and wait awhile to eat, or add 10 minutes low intensity.
On weight days def stop after 20.

I use this approach in the morning and i have a vien on my lower abs

i've got a couple of veins down there myself

I was using this principle After my workout session with weights so i will most definitely be needing a pro/carb meal after that

i would not do cardio twice a day, an hour a day is plenty anything more and you could be waisting muscle
