    Power rack deads vs regular dead lifts

    Is there any real difrence between a guy doing normal deadlifts off the ground or someone using the rack? Dose one work better than the other?

    IMO yes, the ground up is the only way to go...why start a lift like that half way through it?

    i agree you may as well start from the ground and if your doing paschals its to low.

    Well I do it as a max effort exercise for deadlifts....training from that level..2" below the knees/knee level etc. More for strength. For bodybuilding, I would agree with SoulCard...from the ground is the only way
