Too add leg strength do you have to add leg size

YOu can only do so much w/ the muscle you have.
so to add more strength wouldnt it be better to add more size to your legs using a higher rep range , then train that muscle for more power and strength.

I want to add more power to my legs for sprints, but could honestly care less if my legs grow @ all. any help or insight?

The legs are a funny set of muscles they respond to both high and low rep exercises. I like to do low rep squats but I like to switch it to higher reps everynow and then and on leg press I like higher reps and I also do lower reps on them as well. Like power lifter who do 2-3 reps they have enormous strenght so low reps clearly tend to work, but I'm sure they have used higher reps as well sometime during their training
