Critique and Advise Please!
ok i got me a train program....guys critique and advice which 1 is more effective....
mon-chest
tues-back
wed-legs
thurs-off
fri-shoulders
sat-arms
sun-off
2nd program
mon- or back/bis
tues- legs
wed-off
thurs-chest/tris
fri-shoulders
sat-abs/cardio
sun-off
thats the best i can come up wit after readin so many other forums...but then again u guys r more experiences here
so any 1?

i dont like #1 either just because its all of your big muscles grouped (mon, tues, wed). I dont know if that really matters, but i dont like it.
right now i do:
day 1: chest
day 2: shoulders
day 3: back
day 4: arms
day 5: legs
i like it.
ive also done:
day 1: chest
day 2: shoulders/tris
day 3: back/bis
day 4: legs
and that worked decently too.
i dont have set off days. i take them as i feel necessary. and also, one day a week of abs i dont think is enough. and also i dont think one day a week (saturday) is good enough for cardio.

yea #2 is my fav too...the reason i put #1 is cos im not sure wats effective doin bis and tris wit back and chest or on there separate day? and yea 1 day for abs and cardio not enough..how this work if i do cardio atleast 4 times a week for 30 min or so?
and max ur schedule i.e
day 1: chest
day 2: shoulders
day 3: back
day 4: arms
day 5: legs
looks pretty appealin to me
any more comments?

Its worked for me pretty good. I do cardio every other day before work, so about the same as you, 3 days some weeks and 4 days some weeks. along with other activities I do like basketball or hiking or whatever else i do on the weekends. I do abs before I do cardio. If i put off abs when I first get to the gym, then I definatly wont do them afterward, no matter how much i say i will..heh.

ok so im gonna start #2 workout from tomm....umm which 1 is more effective doin all the back sets first and then do the bis or 1 set of back and then 1 set of bis and how many sets....3-5 wit 8 reps?
