    Would this be overtraining?

on wednesday i trained shoulders and tri's. today (thursday) i'm gonna do my legs/forearms. since i have no school/work on friday i really hate not goin to the gym so i was gonna hit chest/abs. but since i hit shoulders/tri's only 2 days ago should i just give myself an extra day and hit chest on sat?

Thats what I usually do. My muscle groups are all fvcked up lately..I end up miss shoulders/traps or something. I'd say wait 3 days... I mean I guess as long as you aren't doing a push movement 2 days in a row the better i.e. chest monday tris or shoulders tuesday

    elaborate bro.
cuz while i'm training i dont think, i just lift the weight. i can never recall thinking that i am overtraining while i am actually working out.

no offense but this sounds like something that you were told and have just adopted. anyone here whether or not ur a newb or Vet knows that there is such a thing as overtraining.

it simple to overtrain...your muscles don't have enough "rest time". your muscles don't grow in the gym, the grow when the muscles repair the damage...at least thats what i was taught.
