How long to stay in the gym...

Just another thing I've wondered what other people do. I usually am there for 1.5-2 hours depending on what im working and how crowded it is. But i do rest a little longer than most people so im not going hard the whole time, just for 8 reps at a time. ive read threads about cortisol doing something after 47 minutes, whats that?

my buddy always thought i was over training but we took a look at arnolds bb encyclopedia and it says that overtraining in arnolds eyes is like 3-4 hours a day!

how long do yall stay in the gym?

You can’t go by what Arnold, or any other pro says, there genetics are super human and are highly drug assisted, it like looking through the latest flex magazine and following ronnie colemans routine thinking your going to look like him, it ant going to happen.

should there be a difference between how long one is at the gym and how long one spends time training? I ask this because some just simply spend time at the gym and could halve the time they are there.

I never take longer than 1:15. Not becase I time it, but simply cause I just get through my training and never sit down. At the moment I take about 50mins.

One thing I'e picked up from reading about olympic weightlifters, or at least the Europeans, is that they never sit down but just get through their training.
