    cardio

I want to know if doing cardio at 65 % of you heart rate would be the same as 75%? will you burn more cals while doing 75?

Is it cool to alternate from 65% to 75% for fat burn? Or just keep you heart rate at a steady 65.

Dont know if I formulated this question right, but oh well.

75% will burn more calories in total, but the % burnt from fat will be lower, still you might burn more fat calories. However, there is a point of diminishing returns and between 60 and 70% MHR is best for specific fat burning and for being able to sustain the exercise for 45 mins.

S.P.G is the resident expert on MHR %s, but I believe he also advocates a steady 60-70
