    The routine

Okay let's have 'em. I'm looking for a new split and I need some good ideas. I consider my routine pretty detailed. This is my current regiment:

    M - Chest/calves
    Tu - off
    W - bis/abs/hams/lower back
    Th - back/rear delts/forearms
    F - Shoulders/traps
    Sa - quads/tris
    Su - off

cadio at will or depending on goals..

    gimme some good ones.

It is a little hard to comment what exercises are you doing sets reps, what are you trying to achieve
    ect….

As for that split, it could be better theirs so much overlapping between Wednesday and Thursday….

i agree, i try to change it up every few months or so. I am interested in others splits in general. no specific workouts or anything.

Too much overlap from Wed to Thurs., and you are also training 4 days in a row which is too many days in a row.

I think he was looking for new ideas, not critique on his old routine that he wants to drop...

    M - Chest, tris, calves
    T - Rest
W - Back (forearms & hams), biceps, traps
    T - Rest
    F - Quads, shoulders, calves
    S - Rest
    S - Rest

It may look like a lot of bodyparts per day, but its not because you are hitting traps, hams and forearms just by doing deadlifts and rows and then just add shrugs. This condenses your routine to just three neat days and avoids any overlapping. You need to include more compound mid-range exercises and this is done by putting corresponding bodyparts together such as chest, tris and back and biceps. You will grow more doing this, rather than just hitting isolations which is what I suspect you do when you work tris, after quads.
