    DIPS...Where to put in Workout

    would it be more beneficial to put in dips w/ chest or tri's? i normally dont do chest and tri's on the same day so thats why i'm asking.

    I do dips after BB Bench and Db incline.....I would never train triceps on any other day than chest day.

    I actually just started them, theyre badass. Before, it felt like I was tweaking my chest when I was doing them, so I stayed away from them.

    do them close grip,if poss, this helps isolate and hit tris more

    Let the other bros keep doing their isolations while we do our compound and then we'll see...

    I put them in with my chest and triceps workouts. I like to use dips or close-grip bench presses as a bridge between my chest and tricep workouts. There will be carryover either way. Heavy dips will increase your strength on benching and will pack mass on your tris. Excellent exercise if your shoulders can tolerate them.

    after chest and before tris. sometimes i do sets with high reps.....but mostly weighted for 3 to 4 sets, depending on how i feel. i always liked dips, i find it to be a all around upper body exercise......
