Mass gains in an overtrained state?

I have been cutting and maintaining with alot of volume and lots of cardio for 3 months or so now with only a short 3 day break 7 weeks ago. I am upping calories and starting bulking. Should I take a break (5-7 days) from all exercise and start fresh. I am tired ALL day. I even yawn right before working out.

After 8-12 weeks, it is always good to take some time off. It allows you body a chance to recover. You will be stronger in the long-run by taking this break. It is psychologically difficult but your body needs it.
It sounds like you are in a state of overtraining. Take some time off to recooperate.

take off the next 9 days or so. I have finals next week and getting really stressed. Is it true that a natural should never workout back to back days for MAXIMUM results.
