rib cage pops when I stretch
it isnt uncomfortable or annoying at all, but when i stretch the middle of my rib cage in between my pecs always pops and cracks. It happens usually but more so for a few days after a chest workout, could this be my rib cage expanding?? Anythoughts??

Man, this JUST started to happen to me in the summer... I always thought it was cuz i injured myself. It stopped recently about 3 months ago when i've been focusing on developing my back, i think it had to do with my posture as well, i found that when i was in an ackward position for a long time i was more prone to it popping when stretching or shifting positions... i dunno though...
Bump for more thoughts

the pop is probobly just gas being released. similar to cracking your knuckles. Happens to me all the time.

Yup, feels really good, I usually do it before squats or deads.

I've had to stop doing my knuckles which is a habit because its starting to screw them up now that I've started to get heavy on the deadlifts
Once I did very wide chest dips and I got up and stretched out my rib cage and my sternum made this popping sound. There was too much force there, so I just went to a slightly narrower grip and didn't go so low.
