    Exclamation Workin out

    I play rugby at a very competitive level and i was just wondering how much lifting heavy weights effect my performance. I take creatin , weight gainer and protien. But i also do cardo lots of cardo. So just want some advice on what other athleats do in the same situation. peace

    Bro, it's a sport - bigger, faster, stronger, quicker - the more of these you have, the better off you'll be if you lack the talent. only if you were in say.....chess club....i wouldn't recommend lifting....well, maybe some finger curls, but that's about it.

    yea but they say that it slows you down a lot ... and rugby is nothing like football . the plays last anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes

    if do u explosive lifts you wont get slowed down
    i know all the weight i put on has only made me faster
