    For those with serious forarms

Id like to know what has made people who compete have the calibur of forarms that is required.. Do some believe that they are taken care of with core movements.. That was always my theory, but I realize that they need bringing up, especially the back side.. So any suggestions from those with forarms that would stand up on stage please advice.

First of all I wouldnt say my forearms are gifted enough to be on stage. Some people are just gifted with big forearms. Me I NEVER work my forearms directly and they are only one inch smaller than my upper arm. My forearms look badass but they make my upper arm look too small, lol. If you want your forearms to grow get rid of your lifting straps first of all, and then hit them directly with some excersises such as Swole suggested.

Just genitics. That and I'm a mechanic. Turning wrenches where only your hand and the wrench fits does it for me. I train them heavy once a week after training arms. No matter how fat I get during a bulker, you can still see all the muscles in my forearms. I do all those exercises that SwoleCat said.

movements that worked forearms indirectly never did much for me. as swole said behind the back curls, reverse wrist curls off of a bench have done wonders for me.

Ironminds makes a sick 3" wrist roller. That thing will do some serious work on your forearms.
