    one pec thicker than other

i got a real problem here guys. it appears that my left pec is thicker than my right one. most people can't notice it, but i can. the left one has the round shape going for it, and the right is slightly slacking behind, not to much. i have no clue as to how this happened. in all actuallity, it seems that my left side is bigger all together. my left trap is slightly bigger, left lat is too, so's my left quad. the only real thing that my right has going is my right upper arm.

any clues on how i can fix this problem??? FYI, i'm right handed.

    thanks,
    jeff

Live with it bro, I have the same problem, no one else notices it but I do. Both sides of your body will never be even. Look closely at any professinaol bodybuilder, one arms always bigger, one pec always looks different, etc, etc.

I've read that for right handed people, their left side is usually a tad bigger. You have less neuromuscular coordination on your left side so it has to work harder when strength training. As a result, your left side grows a little bigger than the right side.

Exactly, don't try to fix it.

Just lift evenly with good form and intensity and be done with it. You will look great at the end of it and you will be in as good proportion as you will ever be. Most of these things are purely genetic.

Use more unilateral dumbell movements and be careful not to favor the one side dusring a lift. I do this by not using collars on a barbell lift - if the plates slide off the bar, I am doing something unsymetrical... though this isn't always a safe thing to do - even for people lifting near you... it works.

Dumbells will increase recruitment of the shoulder muscles, so be prepared for them to grow as well. You may end up with your shoulders growing instead of the smaller pec, because the delts have more androgen binding sites for test and in a lot of people they grow faster than their chest. This is genetics, and it isn't helped by using dumbells as the delts are used for stabilisation, less so in the barbell..

However, it is the way to go!!!
