NOT on empty stomach...at least a quick couple of scoops of protein w/a piece of fruit for energy, for sure.

When i train in the morning i usually train on an empty stomach.
This depends on the time of the a.m. session.. and it's proximity to my waking. If it's like an hour or more after waking i'll have a protein shake and a small amount of fruit.. or some complex carbs.
If it's within 15-30 minutes after waking this what i do:
The day prior, i make sure i've maximised my post-workout nutrition so my glycogen's topped up.
The night prior i may have a pro-carb meal before bed.
Wake.. go to the gym.. train on an empty stomach... hit my pwo meal post-workout.
