    The Yoke Lifts

    I am looking to increase the size of my traps and delts i know good delt work outs but no matter what i can't seem to hit my traps right can some one give me a few suggestions, i do shrugs and high lifts (i think that is what they are called you start above your knee and pull up to your collar-bone kind of like a clean but start higher and end lower) if there is any more can you let me know

    deadlifts , cleans, shrugs ,front ant lat delt raises

    If you do heavy deads they will hit them, I usually shrug up during my warmup sets to add a little burn...

    oh also, if you aren't doing military BB press I would say try it (make sure you look at form and try and avoid behind the head if you are new to them, some complain of injury / or uncomfortableness?? when going behind the head), they really tax my entire delts to trash every week i do them...

    deads...i only do shrugs once a month or so
    when i DO do shrugs, i like to get on the smith machine and do 4 sets - 2 sets behind the back and 2 sets in front
    my smith machine is angled, so i lean way forward with behind the back and i lean way back with front shrugs

    That is very true, i used to hardly ever deadlift. latley i've been incorporating it into my rountine and I can tell a BIG difference in my traps!

    i dont work traps directly at all and very rarely ever did any work for them except deadlift and my traps still keep growing
