    Tendinitis

For the last 3 weeks Iv been getting a pain in my elbow. It fells as if its bruised but there is no sign or injury and I know for a fact I didnt hurt it. The last few days it has really ben hurting and is effecting my workouts. I believe its tendinitis. Has anyone had this problem? Is there any supplements I can take to help in the recover. What have you done to help this type of injury?
    Thanks HiloJack

Tendinitis, also called Tennis Elbow. i get that sometimes when i train real hard and heavy.
Just go see a doc and get some pain relieve pills.
Massage it regularly, it will get better with more rest.

Remember wait till its recovered, before trainning again
    ...REST...REST...REST..

Rest and be patience....before you hurt it and it turns to a chronic injury.

you could try glocosamine (heh i know i cant spell)
    and creatine.

the creatine will cause you to hold some water but will cushion your joints a bit.

they might not cure you but worth a shot. it seems to help with my legs but then again im lighter too

I did a little research and read MSM, Glucosamine and Chondroitin will help. I picked up a few bottles to try, it said you will feel results in 3 days. I let you guys know if it works or not.
    Thanks for the replies HiloJack

The main point to remember is to rest the injured body part untill it is fully healed. You could just end up doing more damage if you hit it too hard too fast.

I'm not sure if its the same thing as tendonitis, but I often get that in my elbow from certain exercises. My doctor seemed to think it was a pinched/inflamed nerve causing the pain. Either way, its shitty.

try strengthing the tricep, your elbow is over working because you have greater force in your bicep or vice versa, i had the same problem w/ my knees from running.
    peace
