Building Quads without leg extensions...help!!!
Ok, here's the deal. I broke my leg in a motorcycle accident. And so now. I can do squats and leg press fine. But my ortho dr. told me never to do any leg exercise where my feet aren't planted on the ground. Can I just build my legs with squats and leg press or do I need other things. Help me out please. The basic moves will build your legs, play around with foot postition to hit all areas, for example to build tear drop do hacks w/ heels touching, and toes pointed out or squat that way. You should be fine, just be inventive.

Lunges are great as well...but be careful!

I believe leg extensions would do very little for you anyway...
