You need hydration from H2O during a workout. Take some caffine pills or an ECA for energy.
caffine will get you dehydrated it make your workouts suffer
unless you stay hydrated
as long as you are drinking coffee drink a lot of water too
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think u need 5 cups of water to even out 1 cup of coffee/ the amount of caffein in one cup.
This can't be very scientific... Coffee is made a different strengths depending on how the person making it likes it which means different amounts of caffeine.

Large amounts of caffeine may increase frequency of urination. If experiencing an increase in urination, one will need to drink water to replace losses.

Don't know about you guys but coffee either before or during my workouts cause me to get so nauticious (sp?) that my workouts suffered tremendously.
I always drink coffe before workouts.....
gets my adrenaline flowing....
I used to watch guys at the gym (usually older guys) working out and sipping from their cups of java and wondered how the hell can they do that. Granted, I'm a caffeine addict but there is just some places that I find it uncomfortable to tote my coffee around and the gym isn't one of them.
I prefer my coffee to be used as my pre-workout drink, especially when drinking it with ephedrine/ephedra. But never during my workout.
On Saturday and Sunday mornings at my gym I always see guys in there 50's with their "Big One" from DD's. If you want to drink coffee then do it before you get there.
Caffeine is evil, I used to drink 2 litre slurpees constantly, and get jittery like a crack whore.
