skull crushers are the Big Dad of the tricep exercises. If you have not been doing these, when you start those tri's will grow, grow, grow...

Skull crushes are great. Try doing them with dumbells instead of a EZ-BAR and I found that these are better, also try doing either movements on a decline bench and really fry your triceps.....

Hack squat is a type of free weght machine. You stand on a platform at a backwards angle. You have two pads on your shoulders, similar to the standing calf raise machine. I like it because A. it is safer and therefore allows you to use more weight without a spotter and B. you can go further down to really hit the hams and glutes while still killing the quads with the other half of the range of motion.

I've got to use e-z bars, b/c straight bars cause a shooting pain in my elbows no matter how strict my form is. Skulls will always be a staple in my Tri training.

Not to worry, I first did Skulls with 45 lbs, you need to get used to the movement, next time you can up the poundage.
