pullovers
everybody knows arnold says dumbbell/barbell pullovers widen the rib cage. i want to see how many of us really thinks it works, and does anyone use this? Have you seen a noticeable gain doing it over time?

Actually, I definetly believe he's right. Over the past 2 yrs, I've used pullovers in my training. Being a "hard gainer" it's tough to gain size. Yet, my upper torso has grown even though it doesn't look much bigger. And I feel it's because the pullovers are helping to expand my rib cage.

Umm, well, pullovers are great for devoloping the serratus and pectoralis minor muscles, thus completing the look of a well developed chest. You could say it brings out the "tie-ins" of the lower chest. However, many scientists believe that it is impossible to expand the ribcage with an exercise because it is not a muscle.

Aren't pullovers the exercise where you take a DB and put the top of your shoulders on the bench. While you squat on the floor. I may be explaing it wrong. If anyone knows what I mean please reinterpert this.

the french curler is right .Eventhough it has some benefits though i have also read that it was bad for the rotator cuff .I have bad shoulders so dont do them . I will never sacrifice effectiveness for the risk of injury
