    Wink swiming to cut up?

Hi guys, I'm currently going through a cut up phase and I am trying to lose fat and get defintion without losing muscle bulk.
I'm going to be dieting and cardio for the next 6 weeks so I thought about swiming 2-3 times a week.

However I have been told that swiming would interfere with my bodybuilding and it would not be a good idea to combine the two.

I would like to hear your opinions please

    thanks

Swimming is not a good idea while dieting or trying to remain lean...now let me tell you why, if you look at most swimmers the are rather smooth, even known they do exesive amoutns of swimming (cardio), if you swim a lot your body will go through adaptation phase and increase the amount of fat underneath the skin to protect and insulate the body from cold water, and that my friend is why it's not a good idea to rely on swiming as cardio...MY 2 CENTS...XXL

    Now I am really confused..
You see I read some where, in order to get your metabolism up and burn fat is to stay in a cool room, this is because your body would have to burn extra fat to keep your body at and prevent it from going below your normal body temperature.
So wouldn't it be better to swim so to get your metabolism werking harder to stay at the normal temperature????

btw I tried swiming with clen and I could really fell the heat from my body when I swim.
