what i meant was should i work the left lat more times a week or an extra set for each exercise on back day? i need more specifics. also skiboy, i thought upright rows and shrugs were for delts and traps?

You're right, upright rows are for side delts and traps. And for the lat prob, IMO you should add some extra sets of one arm pull downs and rows. Just add two, maybe three sets total at first and see how that works.

    bro,

If one lat is lagging you could be performing your back exercises incorrectly - pulling unevenly.

Get an experienced trainer to watch your form whilst you train and he may be able to spot any errors in your form. Just a thought.

Exactly what Defdaz said. In addition, some muscles (when starting out) grow unevenly and will eventually fill in. Good luck...
