I work shoulders and traps on the same day. 16 sets for shoulders, that includes delts..and 9 sets for traps.

Untill their on fire, then a few more.
i do upright rows, laterals, and rear delts all w/ triple drops sets and i have IMO great shoulders.everyoen comments on them as they are very broad and rounded. i haven't deviated from this in years and i still keep growing.in total it's about 6-9 sets and it takes me about 30 mins.works like a charm
Ive been doing 4 sets @ 12 reps for every group, but with the fina im getting major burn in the delts so im limiting myself to 3 sets of those.
i do 3 sets behind the neck and 3 sets lateral raises=6 sets
I just started doing Back and shoulders and found that it works great here it goes for shoulders.
2 sets dumbell press or smith machine front press 1 warm up 1 allout (2 sets)
2 sets upright rows SAME ------------------------------------------
Front raises 1set- 12 reps
Side laterals 1 set-12 reps
Rear delts are hit with back.
---shrugs-2 set to finish off back and shoulders
I do instinctive training so my sets vary. Work'em till you know their done.
Here's my delt routine
dumbell presses 10-8-6-4
lateral raises 10-8-6
rear delt raises 10-8-6
ummmmm i go from 8 - 6 -5
on all my shoulder exercises
