    Set question ?

The only way i feel like i have worked properly in the gym is if i do the following for each exercise.

2 sets warm up 50% max - get the blood in
    3 - 4 sets 80 - 90 % max 8 - 10 reps - these sets i only just get to my final rep.

is this correct as i have been told so many diffrent opinions, I am training for bulk and strength, My routine is

    Day 1 - chest & biceps
    Day2 - back & triceps
    Day3 - Legs & Stomache
    Day4 - 1 exercise per body part 3 sets 6 - 8 reps max weight

for each exercise you warm up ?? i only do a few warm-up sets on the very first exerscise (not back day b/c i start of with wide grip pul ups). after that i start off about 75 - 80 % of what i'm goin to do that day on each new exercise. too many warm up sets can just burn your energy that you could be using on heavier weight.

if you're doin 80 - 90 % of your max and you can do 8 - 10 reps, i would say your weight is too light.

also, do you not incorporate shoulders anywhere in your workout ??? shrugs, press, lateral & front raises, etc. ??

90 % i take as the most i can do a full un-assisted set with then i controll the negative more.

shrugs, press, lateral & front raises, etc. are done with my back session
