hey bro, I have a Proform Treadmill that I bought about 6 years ago, I have had absolutely no problems except for getting regular maintenance done!

I second the proform, going on two years with mine, long and wide tread, never had to do any maintenance, a little loud but other than that has been great.
I would recommned the 995 SEL model for 799...I got mine right off the site. It was delivered to the house at an agreed upon time and they even brought it to the basement for me.

Have you looked at Precor treadmills? They seem to be pretty sturdy.

I think you will be happy, I am with mine. Right mix of cost and quality for home. I got the 785SS, the 995 came out right after I ordered mine. Check it.
