    Muscle Groups Question

    I've been training hard for about 4 months now, training 1 muscle group per session, 5 exercises per muscle group. I was going to change my schedule to 3 body parts per week eg. Back/Chest/Bis with only 2 exercises per muscle group, this way I can train all groups twice a week.

    Do you think this is a good idea? All comments welcome.

    Why do you want to train each muscle group 2x per week? once a week is enough for most. I do think you should change your routine, though. Here are my suggestions:
    -Cut it down to a 4-day split, 1-2 muscle groups per day.
    -5 exercises per muscle group is too much, IMO. Here is the number of SETS that I feel works best:
    Chest/Legs: 12
    Back: 9-12
    Shoulders: 6-8
    Bi's/Tri's:6
