Most of it is genetic. Everyone is at least a little unsymmetrical.

Do not only train one arm for a month. Train them both and eventually they should even up some. What works for some is doing dumbell curls. Do your weak side first, to failure, then do the same # of reps on your strong side.

Simply put - NO. That would be incrdibly wrong to do... DO NOT do it. Did I mention that is a bad idea?

The only way I can think of to explain is... simply you risk completely inbalancing yourself... there is more going on inside a muscle and bodypart than size... endurance capacity, force ability, joint tendon strength, neuro involvment... it's just not a good idea to do this.

I love it when you see people loading more on one side than the other too. Another bad practice.

Many good ideas have been brought up on this very topic at AR:

    1. Start using more dumbell work
    2. Always begin with the weaker size
    3. Start using your other arm... putting away weights in the gym and simple day to day stuff.

You can also do a few extra reps of dumbell work on the weaker side, i do that with my bi's, i just do like 2 or 3 extra for every set, and it works pretty well.
