    arms?

i am currently doing chest/tris and back/bis ecause I find that my arms only get bigger when I get stronger overall (bench and deads) I always here people talk about doing chest and bis and back and tris. then i see some people who have small ass arms doing a 2 hour bi/tri workout! How do you train arms and WHY?

Where ever they end up after their rest period is over. But I do like hitting them with Tris. And if they need an extra day to fall on top of each other I will normally wait for it. I like doing heavy Tris with light Bis, or visa versa. The pump in the arms with the stretch in the opposing group is great. Since they are both relatively small muscle groups they are a good match to do together... instead of say... back with chest would usually be too much for one session.

palme, it probably doesn't make much of a difference, but u might not want to work triceps after chest day. U might notice one day that if u go really heavy on bench, then the next day your tri's might be a lil tight, or sore. This is the same thing, but different order, this is actually what i'm doing right now.

    chest
    back
    legs
    shoulders
    arms

I've noticed that if I skip my bi and tri day for a week and hit them hard the next week I am able ti lift more and feel like I get better workout. Of course some definition in the muscle is lost but they seem to grow better in size this way.

That's a good thing to notice. You might want to check how you are doing other exercises. Like back, using an underhand grip will deffinitly recruit too much biceps.

But instead of skipping - it might also to try alternating intensities. Do a GVT 10X10 one week - then hit the hard the next week. An option if anything...

I usually hit the bis/tris on the same day. Every so often, I will switch it up.
