Cutting cycle routine. Please comment

Hi guys,
A friend and I were throwing around some ideas for a cutting cycle work-out rountine tonight so I thought I'd post it and see what you guys have to say. Diet will be in check...And yes we will be chemicaly enhanced :D
Please give me your comments, suggestions, and ideas.

Rotation:

Week 1: Mon=Chest/Back Tues=Shoulders Wed=legs Thurs=Bi/Tri Fri=Shoulders

Week 2: Mon=Chest/Back Tues=Shoulders Wed=legs Thur=B/T Fri=Chest

Week 3: Mon=Chest/Back Tues=Shoulders Wed=legs Thur=B/T Fri=Back

Week 4: Mon=Chest/Back Tues=Bi/Tri Wed=legs Thur=Shoulders Fri=B/T

This continues for three months with fours sets of 15, 12, 10, 8 reps. Abs twice a week, and cardio 4-5 times a week. Might do some cardio on Saturdays but Sundays will be a total rest day.

Bench + Front Pulls
Incline + Back Pulls
Fly's + Bent Rows
Dips + Crossovers
Cable Rows + Lat pulls
Decline

Shoulders

All Supersets

Front Presses + Front Raises
Behind the Neck Press + Arnolds
Shrugs + Uprights

Bi's and Tri's

Standing curls + Tri pushdowns
Preachers + Skull Crushers
Tricep Ext with Rope + Concentration Curls
Incline Curls + Kneeling Rope Ext

Legs:
Squats
Leg extentions superset w/ legs curls
Leg press
Seated calf
Standing calf

Let me ask you 2 questions. What was your rep scheme on your bulking cycle and if it was less than this "cutting routine", why are you going in reps?

Well bulking I do heavier weights and lower reps. Also I do one body part a day. Like for example on standing curls I would do 4 sets - 10-8-6-4 w/ the last set going to failur on the last rep.
What do you mean by: "going in reps?"

Whoops I meant going higher in reps.

Basically, my cutting and bulking cycle is the same. If you are bulking and you can do lets say 315 for 6 reps then when you cut you do 275 for 12 reps, your body will soon adapt to this and will realize it won't "need as much mass" so to speak and hence you will get weaker when you go back on your bulking cycle because you won't be stimulating your biggest muscle fibers. WHy not stay heavy, low reps, good form? Who says you have to go on a higher rep cycle for cutting. That's my thinking on it.

The main thing is you want to be tapping into your aerobic energy pathways. People use higher reps to achieve exhaustion and try to push their VO2 max. Higher reps can work. But for the strength loss reasons, I would still do low reps.

But remember whichever you use, exert 100% of your force, aka compensatory training. If your max bench was 405 and you are doing 275, you still use as much force as you would pushing 405 up.

Ok.. I see what your saying. But do you agree that super setting is better for cutting since your tapping more into the aerobic pathways by doing more at once?

Better in that sense, but in the sense of maintaining strength, no.

Anyone else have luck in raising the reps for cutting?

Well what I've found to work for me is to stay heavy with low reps on my main lifts, and increase reps "slightly" with alot more emphases on form with my secondary lifts......kinda best of both worlds. :)

what works for me is staying moderate rep range
the highest i'll do is 12, then break down to 8 at the least
