    workout plan for my girlfriend.....

    can anyone help me out creating a workout plan for my girlfriend, finally got her to start working out, but dont know what kinda of plan to make her, shes just tryn to tone up, any help much appreciated!!

    As far as weights, I'd have to say HIT style training for the first 2-4 weeks, 3 times a week,, fullbody work outs 1-2 sets per part to start then 3-4 sets after 2 weeks. Then after she can go into of more of an in depth routine. I'd say cardio 3-4 times a week. BUT before all this, get her a good diet before starting any type of workout.

    ok sounds good, can anyone help me create a plan , and what kind of excersises to do.. does she do what most guys do, chest/triceps, biceps/shoulders, etc... anyone know of any good plans currently being used maybe by there girls? thanks again for the help!

    Yellows...just gave you a plan. His post is good info for you and your g-friend...as far a routine... here is a menu of simple basic movements:

    Flat bench dumbells
    Incline Flys
    Seated shoulder presses
    Standing lateral raises
    Cable pulldowns
    Seated rows
    Leg press
    Leg extension
    Leg curls
    Seated incline Bicep curls
    Preacher curls
    Cable tricep pulldowns
    Seated tricep dips
    crunches
    Cardio....aerobic class, stair master, treadmill

    excellent, thank you guys, shes 6'0" tall and shes pretty lean, but shes got some extra flab around the waist line she wants to get rid of, finally got her to start going to the gym, all the help is appreciated!!

    Here's what i do...

    chest, shoulders, back, tris (day one)

    quads, hams, calves, bis (day three)

    repeat w/ cardio on alternate days

    i do three moves, three sets of decreasing reps/increasing weight

    seems to work for me
