I personally believe the body becomes used to cardio or any sort of training so you need to mix it up and do the following maybe
    Day 1 run 20mins
    Day2 run 30mins
    Day3 rest
    Day4 run 40mins
    Day5 run 25mins
    Day6 run 60mins
    Day 7 rest

~Also, varying your intensity will keep the body in shock, preventing it from adapting and continuing to burn fat. Switch between moderate and high intensity.

    Good point BB ....

I would like to state that , you don't just have to run ... Mix it up ... play some sport you like that keeps you moving ... pool is not one of them .....

And if you can do some cardio 6 days a week would be good at least 25 minutes ..... get active and get your metabolism a boost .... good luck

Thanks for all the information guys. I just have one more question. I tore my ACL playing basketball like a year ago. It is hard for me to run on a treadmill. I have been using those eliptical machines. You know the ones that when you are on it. It makes you look like a fag running in the snow. Well, it is low impact. My question would be is it as good as running. Sorry for the spelling. Thanks again!!
