    Low or High Intensity Cardio?

What does everyone think is the best way to lose fat while minimizing muscle breakdown? And why? I've always heard the example of a sprinters physique vs. a distance runners physique.

I believe they both have their place. Try them both and see which you like. Everyone is different.

I like like light cardio for longer periods of time, but I also throw in some high intensity cardio for short periods of time. HIIT style. The only thing that will do you wrong is light cardio for short amounts of time (you wont lose shit) and high intensity cardio for long times ( you will lose muscle).

I've read strong evidence to support both. Kinda reminds me of the machines vs. free weights argument, except there's no clear superior. I think the science may lean toward the low intense for longer. I say do both.
