    reverse grip bench

I seea lot of these guys doin reverse grip bench in the gym. I've never done it myself and i really dont see that there can be any use for it. What do u guys think?

Thanx again this board is great

"Ever wonder why other athletes are passing you buy? Maybe it's because you're at a nightclub, shaking your ass to the early hours of the morning. These are the same guys who attack my style of training. These fat fucks whine about how you can only do so many sets for this, and so many for that. As if they know. What divine power came to them and told them all of those secrets? I know when I'm done, if I'm not standing on top, it wasn't out of laziness."

"You can't touch my level of sacrifice. Why? Because I don't care what happens to me. I don't care if I die, as long as they bury me in a big fucking box. "

Seems to me like a "unnatural" movement. You can't go very heavy anyway.Might be good as a superset for triceps if you want to hit em from a new angle.

It's difficult to do sufficient weight without becoming unsafe, I say it's a waste of time.

I agree, I think alot of guys try it because it's new and they're bored. I think it's more of a tricep exercise. In which case I think the close grip bench press is better.

i'm surprised u've seen guys do it in competition since its banned because of the chance it could slip off your hands, then u'd be in some trouble
